News from the Day Development Program

Services Day Development Program, recently attended the Luzerne Intermediate Unit (LIU) yearly reception
and presented the various aspects of the Day Development Program to attendees. The LIU hosts this reception,enabling children with disabilities to attend school with support services in place. The Day Development Programoffers developmental opportunities in the areas of academics, socialization, adult daily living skills, as well aspersonalized development for each individual. The AtA (Abilities thru Art) program, where individuals can learndifferent art forms, including, but not limited to painting, jewelry making and crocheting is part of the Program as well as community based programs such as Meals onWheels, CEO Backpack Program, CEO Feed-A-Friend and the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen.
