Brent P. Evans Named Man of the Year by the Eastern PA Leukemia and
Brent Evans, son of Ken and Karen Evans, R.N. from the Endoscopy Department, recently was named Man of the Year for Eastern Pennsylvania by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Brent is a survivor of hepatosplenic t-cell non Hodgkin's lymphoma, a rare, aggressive cancer that was diagnosed in July 2010. He received a stem cell transplant from his brother Ryan in December 2010 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Though he's endured many"bumps in the road," he is well on his way to recovery.
